Outdoor Workouts and Clinics

The 2011 outdoor workout and clinics season is now complete.  Stay posted for the 2012 schedule.

2011 Season

Start: May 31
End: June 30

Package of all 10 workouts $125.00 plus HST $141.25

Package of 5 workouts $75.00 plus HST $84.75

Drop-in: $20 per person

In case of inclement weather, check your email for alternate arrangements. Some workouts may be changed to indoor spinning.

May 31st – Climbing and Descending. Learn the proper techniques for climbing and descending and train to prepare for the hills. Meet at Base of Blair Rd Hill.

June 2nd – Transition Training and Race Day Prep. Learn how to set-up you transition zone and make speedy transitions like the pro’s. Then put your new skills into practice. Meet at Base of Blair Rd Hill.

June 7th – Interval Training/Time Trials on the Bike. Get the same workout outside as you do in a spin class. We’ll look at tempo workouts and interval workouts in the great outdoors and put them into practice of course! Meet at Base of Blair Rd Hill.

June 9th – Open Water Swim and Run. A coached swim in the Rockliffe spring fed Pond. Get tips for open water swimming as you go.  Jump out of the water and enjoy a run by the river or if running’s not your thing bring your bike.

June 14th –  Gatineau Park Brick Training. Meet at P8 and ride the 22k loop and follow it up with a run. Learn techniques for anticipating climbs, descents and how to attack rollers.

June 16th - Meech Lake Swim and Run. A kayak supported coached swim from Blanchette Beach. Get tips for open water swimming as you go.  Jump out of the water and enjoy a run by the lake. If running’s not your thing bring your bike.

June 21st - Gatineau Park Brick Training. Meet at P8 and ride the 22k loop and follow it up with a run. Learn techniques for anticipating climbs, descents and how to attack rollers.

June 23rd –Meech Feast. It’s Harvest Time….Take the day off and join us for a non-kayak supported Open Water Swim from O’Brien Beach, Ride and Run from P8. A great practice for the Meech Lake Triathlon.
